From an inception in corporate coaching, to a shift in focus towards youth and empowering the next generation for a greater impact.

2014

Million Peacemakers is founded.

2015

Million Peacemakers wins the YMCA Peace Medal.

2016

Publication of Nonflict®: The Art of Everyday Peacemaking, co-authored by Stephen Hecht and Dr. Amir Kfir. This formalizes the “Nonflict®” methodology of 3-step steps: understanding self & others, shared reality, and co-creation.

2019

Stephen Hecht speaks at the Vatican on religions & the UN SDGs, and then is invited back a month later to work on peace and nonviolence policy.

2023

Launch of the Global Partnership for Peace & Humanity with Aegis Trust, with a goal to train a million peacemakers; partnership to establish peace institutes.

2025

Million Peacemakers begins collaboration with leading global youth organizations—laying the groundwork for partnerships to reach millions of youth worldwide.
